Well, about time to change this thing, haven't touched my journal since september 2010!
I'm studying to become a journalist or to be more specific a photojournalist. Been shooting a few conserts for the local newspaper and even the world series of Formula 1 boat! Great fun, without a doubt what I'd love to do for a living.
Not really sure what to write here otherwise... Am working on my own website, so I got a more serious way of displaying my pictures beside flickr \ DA (No offence, but a site of my own would seem more pro).
Also, today I recived my first DD! A really nice surprise to wake up to! Be sure to take a look if you haven't already: [link] Don't forget to browse my other pictures here either, though much of my recent work such as consert pictures and such aren't uploaded here. Take a look on my flickr if you're interested: [link]
Back to the topic of my DD, it was just plain luck I was out that night. Had promised a friend that I'd take him out and teach him some tips for shooting stars, and was bored that evening on jan 6 so I gave him a ring. We drove for 35 - 40 minutes to a location I'd used before a few times.
The stars where clear and surprisingly enough it was very little wind (at the coast it's "always" windy, and we do get some polar winds up here...) Anyways, we'd just mounted our cameras on tripods when we saw some faint greenish color in the sky. A few minutes later it started to get more intense and the result.. Well, look for yourself.
